Requirements
Minimum age 21
High School Diploma/GED
Must be U.S. Citizen
No Class “A” or felony conviction(s) No conviction, probation, deferred adjudication, or court ordered community service for a Class B misdemeanor in the last 10 years.
Possess a valid Texas Driver’s License
An Honorable Discharge from the Military
Must pass in depth background investigation
Must pass a Physical Assessment Test
Must meet other Civil Service requirements
