This week, April 6-12, 2025, marks National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, a time dedicated to recognize the accomplishments of the victims’ rights movement and promote victims’ rights and services. In recognition of NCVRW, Cameron County District Attorney Luis V. Saenz held a press conference today at Downtown Market Square to reaffirm support for crime victims. The Brownsville Police Department is commitment to seeking justice for crime victims. Through our ongoing collaborations with local, state, and federal agencies, we aim to enhance public safety and provide support to those affected by crime.
National Crime Victims’ Rights Week serves as a reminder of the collective responsibility to support victims and ensure they have access to necessary resources.
