The Brownsville Police Department proudly hosted its 5th Annual Women’s Inclusion Conference, a two day event dedicated to professional development, building confidence, and empowering women in law enforcement.
The first day of the conference took place at the South Padre Island Convention Center, where attendees heard from an inspiring lineup of keynote speakers. We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Galia Cohen, Vincit Medical Practice & Aesthetics, and Brownsville Police Department Officer Rolando Trujillo Jr. for sharing their expertise, leadership, and encouragement with participants.
The second day of the conference was held at the Brownsville Police Department Shooting Range, where officers were divided into groups for scenario-based training sessions. These hands-on exercises focused on building confidence, improving decision making, and strengthening tactical proficiency in real world situations.
The Brownsville Police Department extends heartfelt thanks to its community partners for their continued support in making this event possible: South Padre Island Police Department, South Padre Island Convention and Visitors Bureau, Brownsville Chamber of Commerce, Exceptional ER, and Golden Corral. Their partnership plays a vital role in strengthening opportunities for women in policing and supporting our mission of ongoing professional growth.
